Established by SupervisionWA in 2024, Supervisors Network WA is a cross-disciplinary community of practice for professional supervisors. Created in response to the growing need for collegial connection and professional community, the Network provides a welcoming forum for supervisors to strengthen professional relationships, engage in reflective dialogue, and support one another's ongoing development as supervisors.

Community of Practice

The Network meets in-person every two months. Members volunteer to present in pairs on a diverse range of supervision-related topics, generating rich discussion and shared learning. These sessions are consistently engaging, professionally enriching, and reflective of a collective commitment to ethical supervision, reflective practice and continuous learning. They also showcase the depth of experience, creativity and leadership within our supervisor community.

The Network welcomes both experienced and emerging supervisors. A particular strength of the Network is the support it offers to newly trained supervisors, including graduates of SupervisionWA's training course. By providing ongoing collegial connection, encouragement and opportunities for continued learning, the Network helps bridge the transition from training to established supervisory practice.

Meeting attendance hours can be counted towards supervisor certification requirements where relevant.

Regional Supervisor Support

Recognising the importance of access for regional practitioners, the Network has expanded to include an Online Supervisors Network, coordinated by a regional supervisor and enabling participation from supervisors throughout Western Australia.
